Occupations Code 2303.155(b)(2) sets the impoundment fee at $20, subject to Section 2303.1552. That section lets the commission adjust the impoundment and daily storage fees by the change in the consumer price index each odd numbered year and requires the adjusted fees to be published on TDLR's website. TDLR's VSF fee page lists the 2023 biennial adjustment: a maximum impoundment fee of $22.85. (source: Texas Legislature) (source: Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation)
